Hi Sam,
Jesus Christ was once paragoned to an alchemist that takes the world and extracts the pure essence out of it and purifies it seven times until it is something holy to God. Purifying is a longsome process that involves not only the body.
You has already mentioned the aspects that are involved in the purification: … with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul and all your strength …
With all your mind, … this is not only a aspect, it’s crucial for the further advancement in the process of purification.
“And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4)
The point is that we need to purify ourself from any “mental” contamination, from any false doctrine that blurry the Truth and prevent a clear understanding who and what God really is. To understand that Jesus is his son is a key of knowledge that is essential for whoever desires to live forever in his Kingdom here on earth (soon).
I do not condemn anyone except the False Religions that prevented through thousands of years the clear picture of the Truth with their false doctrines that are anti-scriptural. They has the same disposition as their true father, Satan, because they lie and contaminates the Truth with pagan ideas. (Isaiah 5:20, John 8)
If you say I am spreading dissension and schism through pointless arguments and empty words, then I ask you tell me what has you understood by reading Revelation chapters 17 and18? What is this Harlot? Is it pure fantasy out of Johns Mind? Or is it the False Religion that refused to be purified by Jesus Christ and reveals to be the Anti-Christ? The sacrifice of Jesus is useless in their eyes, because they meddles in politics, they put their hope in human governments. They do not love their enemies.
Peter,
I will address your reply from the end to the beginning if I may.
All “Religion” is false. The Scripture from beginning to end is a story of God’s great love for mankind and the “outrageous” things he has done throughout history to restore the intimate relationship between individuals of the human race and himself that was lost when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden. In the eyes of “Religion” the sacrifice of Jesus is useless because men want to believe that they can by there own works achieve righteousness in the eyes of God. Paul warns against this very thing
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strenthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ who is the head over every power and authority.” Colossians 2:6-9
Religion is a conception of man and by its nature cannot be purified by Jesus Christ. It is only individuals who have received Jesus as Lord and Savior that by submitting to His will in their lives can begin the process of sanctification/purification through the work of the Holy Spirit (I Peter 1:2). Each individual is held accountable for his/her acceptance of God’s great gift. (John 3:16). So indeed the Harlot is Religion and any that put their hope in Her will perish.
As I noted before, purification is the work of the Holy Spirit. We are categorically unable to purify ourselves. Our flesh prevents this. We have been made positionally righteous through Christ. It is the Holy Spirit that matures us into living out the position that was given as God’s great gift. It IS crucially important and absolutely clear in Scripture that Jesus is the Son of God. It is also crucially important and absolutely clear in Scripture that Jesus is God. This is the great stumbling block that Paul speaks of. It tripped up the Jews and seemed foolishness to the Gentiles. How you choose to reconcile these two great truths is entirely up to you. In the end analysis
“Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and , “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” II Timothy 2:19
The first is based on our acceptance of God’s gift of salvation and acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The second is the purifying power of the Holy Spirit which comes to live in us when we do the first.
All of us subscribe to some system of doctrine. Fortunately for us our salvation is not tied up in doctrine but in God’s love for us and our love for Him! I try to have as wide a latitude in doctrine for those that I accept as brother’s and sisters in Christ. I believe that when God’s Kingdom comes and we stand before Him that I will be greatly surprised by both those who I see counted as His sheep and by those counted as “goats” and dismissed to everlasting separation from His presence. (Matthew 25:31ff). I know that I look forward to an eternity of praising my God and thanking him for his “outrageous” acts that reconciled this man’s relationship with Him.
Hello,
may I lead your attention to this scripture:
“This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” (Matthew 3:16, 17)
Jesus is the beloved son of the Almighty God Jehovah. The false doctrine of the trinity was introduced by the Catholic Church and is anti-scriptural.

Peter,
Honestly I am not hung up on the Trinity. It is a human attempt to explain a God that they will never really understand this side of heaven. I utilize the concept because in my own studies of Scripture it is the best conception of who God is that I can find around. If you are sold out for Jesus Christ and have acknowledged him to be your Lord and Savior. If you love God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul and all your strength. If you demonstrate this love for God in your dealing with everyone and everything around you, then God Bless you and Amen. I have absolutely no desire to argue unprovable points of theology with you and would much rather love you as a brother in Christ. If on the other hand you are bound up in condemning the beliefs of others and spreading dissension and schism through pointless arguments and empty words, then I hope you will look past the senseless humanistic intellectualization of the Gospel and see the hope, love and salvation of a crucified Messiah who came to bring us all back into right relationship with God.
